After a long absence we were finally given The Stepfather on DVD last year and now we can let him into out homes June 15th on blu-ray!
The Stepfather (1987) follows Jerry Blake, played brilliantly by Terry O`Quinn, current star of TV's "Lost", as a man in search of the perfect American family who will stop at nothing to get it. Now recently re-married Jerry Blake truly believes he has everything he's ever wanted; that is until his new rebellious stepdaughter Stephanie begins to question his true intentions towards her family. As his father-of-the-year facade begins to crack away a terrible dark side begins to surface and people start come up missing. Though a recent remake, which was absolutely horrible, has just hit the shelves we must recommend the amazing original. Complex enough for the horror veteran and engaging enough for the horror newbie; The Stepfather will leave you begging for more (there's a sequel!) and leave you asking, Who Am I Here?
